Alite Care Personnel

Gail Sheahan
Gail is the owner/proprietor of Alite Care Day Services, Consistent Care, and Jamestown Home Health Care. She is a Rhode Island native, born in Providence.

Gail grew up in Warwick and graduated from Veterans Memorial High School class of 1978. She furthered her education at the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, graduating with the class of 1984. She has been a certified home and hospice care executive since 2004 and has 18 years of experience in community nursing.

She has three children. Tucker 19, is studying computer sciences at the University of Maine, Molly, 15, is a student at North Kingstown High School, and Emily, 12, is a student at Lawn Avenue School.

Jane Lincourt
Jane is a registered nurse who recently joined Alite Care. She is a Rhode Island native who graduated from the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Newport Hospital for nine years and has been a nurse for 41-years.

Jane lives in Middletown, has a son, 36, a daughter, 31, and a 2-year-old granddaughter.

Scott Brewer
Scott is the General Manager of Alite Care. He was a general contractor for a good part of his life and physically built the center. It took him more than a year to complete the task and five years to pass the planning and zoning board requirements.

Scott is a native of Kentucky and has lived in Rhode Islamd for more than 25 years. He has two daughters, ages 21 and 12.

Elke Gladding
Elke is a native of Hielbronn, Germany. She came to Jamestown on March 18, 1980 on her 18th birthday. Elke is a certified food safety manager and nutritionist.

She worked did her apprenticeship at the Melrose school where she worked for school cook Lorraine Jordon for 10 years. She then worked for Sodexo food services for 12 years before coming to Alite Care since the day it opened.

Elke has been married for 31 years, has 4 boys, all grown, and one six-month-old grandson.

John Davis, Jr.
John is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). He has worked for Consistent Care for 18 years. He is in charge of supervising and scheduling activities, and helps with training programs.

He is a Rhode Island native, and lives in Narragansett. He has a 25-year-old daughter.

Dorothy Vancouyghen
Dorothy works in administration in the accounting and payroll department. She is a Providence-born, Rhode Island native. She graduated from Hope High School with the class of 1959. After high school she worked for a textile manufacturing firm while she attended the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Liberal Arts degree in 1990.

Dorothy has worked for Consistent Care for five years. She and her husband George have been married for 47 years, and they have lived in Jamestown since 1973. Her hobby is clam digging.

Lisa Vietri
Lisa is a Rhode Island native, born in Newport. She graduated from North Kingstown High School with the class of 1976. She has been working in the administration and billing office for four-years.

Lisa has been married for 12 years, has two grown sons and a grandson who is five-years old.
